Perbedaannya adalah Manajemen Rekayasa lebih fokus pada tahap rekayasa dari inovasi, sedangkan Teknik Industri lebih fokus pada tahap produksi atau operasi
Apakah pada saat pendaftaran langsung memilih program studi yang diinginkan, atau diharuskan memilih fakultas terlebih dahulu?
Untuk program sarjana, calon mahasiswa diharuskan melakukan pendaftaran ke Fakultas Teknik Industri terlebih dahulu. Baru kemudian, penjurusan ke program studi Teknik Industri atau Manajemen Rekayasa akan dilakukan di awal tahun kedua didasarkan pada IPK TPB dan urutan minat serta tidak diperbolehkan memilih jurusan lintas kampus untuk FTI Ganesha dan FTI Jatinangor. Pengecualian untuk untuk jalur peminatan yang telah dipilih pada tahap awal pendaftaran pada lingkup prodi.
Bagaimana mekanisme penjurusan di awal tahun kedua tersebut dilakukan oleh fakultas?
Pemilihan program studi dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahap, yaitu pada awal semester 1 (penerimaan mahasiswa baru), awal semester 2, dan sebelum Ujian Akhir Semester 2. Berdasarkan ketiga kuesioner pilihan program studi tersebut, pada akhir semester II dilakukan proses penjurusan sesuai ketentuan berdasarkan urutan pilihan program studi, prestasi akademik tahun pertama, dan kapasitas yang tersedia. Urutan program studi yang diambil adalah urutan berdasarkan kuesioner tahap terakhir.

Perbedaannya hanya terdapat pada fasilitas dan staf pengajar utama. Namun, mahasiswa TI- Cirebon tetap dimungkinkan untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas di TI ITB Ganesa.

Saat ini belum ada program double-degree untuk program studi sarjana. Program double- degree hanya terdapat pada jenjang pascasarjana Magister Teknik dan Manajemen Industri.

The difference lies in the focus: Engineering Management emphasizes the engineering stage of innovation, while Industrial Engineering focuses more on the production or operational stage.
At the time of application, do I directly choose the desired study program, or must I first apply to the faculty?
For the undergraduate program, prospective students must first apply to the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI). Specialization into the Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management study program will only take place at the beginning of the second year, based on the GPA of the first-year (TPB) courses and order of preference. Students are not allowed to choose across campuses (FTI Ganesha and FTI Jatinangor), except for those who have selected a specific track at the time of initial admission within the study program scope.
How is the specialization process at the beginning of the second year carried out by the faculty?
The selection of study programs is conducted through questionnaires in three stages: at the beginning of semester 1 (new student admission), at the beginning of semester 2, and before the Final Exams of semester 2. Based on these three questionnaires, at the end of the second semester, students will be assigned to a study program according to the order of preference, first-year academic performance, and available capacity. The final order of preference is based on the last questionnaire.

What is the difference between IE Ganesha and IE Cirebon?
The only differences are in facilities and core teaching staff. However, students of IE–Cirebon are still allowed to access facilities at IE ITB Ganesha.
Is there a double-degree program in the undergraduate program?
Currently, there is no double-degree program for undergraduate studies. Double-degree programs are only available at the postgraduate level (Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management).
Are the Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management study programs accredited?
The undergraduate programs in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management are nationally accredited by BAN-PT with an A accreditation and internationally accredited by ABET.
